Director of Operations

Gola Javadi

Ms. Javadi earned a bachelor's degree in political science and international studies from the University of Maryland and received a master's degree in Islamic studies from Harvard University.  Ms. Javadi's role includes managing the planning and execution of the RAD-AID Conference on International Radiology for Developing Countries.  She also serves as RAD-AID International representative at conferences including the International AID and TRADE Conference in 2009 to further develop the linkage between the health care and international development. 

Ms. Javadi was both an author and developer of RAD-AID's Country Report Program, which provides detailed research on the role of radiology in developing countries' health care systems.  Ms. Javadi has coordinated the development of RAD-AID's partnerships including Project HOPE, Duke University, Johns Hopkins and other institutions, in order to achieve collaborative strategies.  Ms. Javadi also manages the growing RAD-AID volunteer system, which has now grown to over 210 individuals and eleven partnered organizations. 

As Director of Operations, Ms. Javadi also founded the RAD-AID FACEBOOK NETWORK, RAD-AID Blogs. The success of her internet-based social networking projects were featured in the American College of Radiology (ACR) bulletin covering the use of Web 2.0 for building international radiology teams.
