Debbie Poelhuis earned her master’s degree from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana. She is registered in both radiography and mammography and has been in radiography education as a program director for 36 years. She has clinical experience in CT, mammography, forensic radiography, trauma radiography and interventional radiography. She has given professional presentations at the local, state, national and international levels and has co-author two textbooks: one in radiography and one in nursing. Debbie was a RAD-AID ASRT Foundation Community Outreach Fellow to Chandigarh, India for the Asha Jyoti Women’s Health project in July 2016. She is currently serving in the role of the director of RAD- AID India having made three trips to India. Her goals are to assist in the continued development and operation of RAD-AID’s women’s health outreach programs in India.
