Short-Term Volunteer Opportunities for Radiologists

RAD-AID International needs ABR Certified Radiologists to volunteer in RAD-AID Guyana and RAD-AID Liberia for short-term placements over the next three to five years.

    • RAD-AID Guyana is partnered with the RAD-AID Chapter at Hofstra Northwell, with the University of Guyana, and with the Ministry of Health in Guyana to create a radiology residency training program in Guyana. Please email the Director of Latin America, Jill Battino, MD, at [email protected] if interested.

    • RAD-AID Liberia is working with colleagues in Monrovia to educate physicians and radiology professionals about radiology best practices. Please email the Program Manager of RAD-AID Liberia, Chad Wilcox, MD, at [email protected] if interested.

This is an excellent opportunity for radiologists from academia, from private practice, and from retirement.

Both sites have completed Radiology Readiness and will be supported by multidisciplinary teams of radiology professionals including medical physicists, technologists/sonographers, and nurses. Join RAD-AID by volunteering to make a sustainable impact by human capacity development in LMICs.
